WEIRD AL PARODY OF BORN THIS WAY

Lady Gaga is stirring up controversy with the lyrics and video for her
new song, “Judas.  The tune features lyrics like:

"I want to love you,/but something’s pulling me away from you/Jesus
is my virtue, and Judas is the demon I cling to….I’m just a holy fool,/
oh baby he’s so cruel,/but I’m still in love with Judas, baby.”

Bill Donahue, president of The Catholic League for Religious and
Civil Rights, said:
"This is a stunt.. Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians
in general: she dresses as a nun... she swallows the rosary. She has now
morphed into a caricature of herself. "She is trying to rip off Christian
idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances.

Gaga plays Mary Magdalene in the forthcoming video, which her creative
director, Laurieann Gibson (who was behind the Grammy egg custom),
said that “Judas” shouldn’t be offensive.

Lady Gaga's new single, "Born This Way," is an anthem for the different. The
song offers words of encouragement for everyone on the margins of society,
including gay people, members of racial minorities, and even the "broke."

She insists, "God makes no mistakes," and later adds:
Whether life's disabilities left you outcast, bullied or teased, rejoice and love yourself today, 'cause baby, you were born this way.

Madonna Influence? Nah

Lady Gaga's new single, "Born This Way," was released after much anticipation, and the song is already receiving criticism for its similarities to another pop star's track. For many listeners, the dance song draws sounds similarities from Madonna's 1989 hit "Express Yourself."

The cover for the pop star’s latest album has a certain similarity with the Kyle Minogue’s 2007 release “2 Hearts.”

Is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta a.k.a. Lady Gaga loosing her originality that  is expected from her or is she just trying to express her admiration for two of the most well known singers of our time.
