Harold Camping, the 89 year old radio show host who predicted the Rapture for last Saturday, emerged from hiding and faced the press yesterday and totally cleared the whole thing up. He said he prayed and prayed and asked God what happened and God apparently told him that May 21 was an "invisible judgement day." Seriously. He actually said that. Invisible judgment day. Instead of the usual earthquakes and shit, God decided to sit in the clouds taking names and spare us the promised five months of hell on Earth. That's a relief. BUT, be warned Earthlings, the world will still blow up on October 21, 2011. So, if God didn't take your name down on May 21, you're totally screwed and don't even have an earthquake to confirm it.
I'm not sure when Christians get raptured now, Camping was a little short on details. Maybe there will be a quickie rapture before the big bang? Whatever, "the world has been warned." Like we were in 1994 and last Saturday. In good news, Camping said this would be his last interview and he wouldn't advertise his revised rapture schedule because "we don't have to talk about this anymore."
