Actor Daniel Craig is giving "Bond girl" a whole new meaning,
dressing up in drag for a short film to support International Women's
Day.
The 007 star trades his signature suit for a flowing blond wig, dress,
pearls and sensible heels in the somber clip which highlights
inequalities faced by women around the world.
The video — narrated by actress Judi Dench, recreating her role as
spymaster M — notes Bond's "fondness for women" but asks if the suited
spy has "ever considered what it might like to be one."
A silent Bond reappears on camera and strikes a seemingly confident
pose in drag. As M rattles off statistics on sexual violence, education
and pay inequality, Craig pulls off the wig and earrings.
He exits the screen when asked "So, are we equals?"
