The promotional blitz for Thor, the comic book adaptation is at a fever pitch. The movie will open on May 6, 2011.
Most of the trailer takes place on Earth, after Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has been cast out of Asgard.
Thor is banished to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) while his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) promises to take care of things while he’s gone.
On Earth, Scientist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and her sidekicks (Stellan Skarsgard, Kat Dennings) run into the now-human Earth-bound Thor, prompting a lot of ogling of Thor’s shirtless body and plenty of laughs as his bombastic (yet likable) style clashes with small town America.
Things eventually turn action-shaped as Thor’s Asgardian buddies seek to rescue him. Loki turns out to be somewhat dodgy and starts taking an interest in Thor’s unliftable hammer.
Hogun is a member of a trio of Asgardian adventurers consisting of Fandral the Dashing, Hogun the Grim, and Volstagg the Valiant and referred as the Warriors Three. They were members of the supporting cast in Marvel's Thor comics and usually provided comic relief and side-adventures.
