Michele Bachmann visited Iowa the other day to curry favor with Bob Vander Plaatz and his Iowa Family Leader or whatever they call it. Vander Plaatz is a failed candidate for governor who has made it his life's work to rid Iowa of the scourge of the gay. Here's Colbert's take on it:
